You do not need to provide a credit card, purchase a paid subscription, or provide personal biographical data to practice sample quizzes, study flashcard decks, generate customized assessments, or download printable PDF worksheets.

2. Information We Collect and Process

• Study Notes & Uploaded Materials: When you input a topic, paste study notes, or upload a PDF document for assessment generation, the text is processed in-memory solely to formulate the educational questions, flashcards, and explanations requested. We do not permanently archive or sell your uploaded curriculum documents.
• Local Browser Storage: To allow you to review your generated quizzes, score history, flashcards, and study library on your own device, QuizCraft AI stores data locally in your browser’s localStorage. This data remains on your machine unless you clear your browser cache.
• Technical Logs & Abuse Prevention: To prevent automated denial-of-service abuse and manage API costs, our servers temporarily record anonymized IP addresses and request timestamps. These logs are cycled routinely and are not linked to your personal identity.

3. Protection of Minors (Children & Students)

We take special care to safeguard learners under the age of 18:

• We do not intentionally solicit or collect personally identifiable information (PII) from children.
• No public user directories, unmoderated student chat rooms, or public social feeds exist within the application.
• Assessment generation focuses strictly on academic topics (Science, Mathematics, Literature, Languages, History, etc.).

QuizCraft AI utilizes local browser storage (localStorage) to persist your study materials, active flashcard reviews, and study streaks locally on your device without requiring user account registration.

• We do not deploy invasive third-party cross-site tracking cookies or commercial surveillance profiling.
• Any functional cookies or local storage keys used are strictly necessary for application preferences (such as dark/light theme choice) and study state persistence.
• Users can clear their local study data at any time directly through browser settings or through the in-app backup/clear controls.
